Our Father knows the perfect answers to all our perplexing issues

God Speaks
The Mind of Christ – Part 1

Scripture Reading: 1 Corinthians 2:10-16

Key Verse: 1 Corinthians 2:16b

But we have the mind of Christ.

As we have been studying, God speaks to us through the Holy Spirit. Today’s suggested reading passage, 1 Corinthians 2:10-16, explains how this works. In verse ten, we are taught that God reveals great truths to us by the Spirit that searches out everything, then shows us God’s deep secrets. Take a moment and consider how deep and wide the wisdom of Almighty God is! We will never ever face any problem that even comes close to stumping our God. Our Father knows the perfect answers to all our perplexing issues before we ever encounter them! More thrilling, the Spirit has already “searched out everything” and is ready to reveal these truths to us! If you are a child of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, stop and praise God for such a privilege to be in His family!

This passage of scripture continues to reinforce the work of the Spirit. The apostle wrote: “no one can know God’s thoughts except by God’s Spirit.” We hear and understand God, when He speaks, by the Spirit that lives in us, as children of God. Remember all true believers have been filled with God’s Spirit, according to the Bible! (Romans 8:9). Trust the Spirit in you; it is God’s Holy Spirit, thus God’s voice when He wants you to hear Him. God knows how to communicate with His children. It will be clearer than any audible voice! (Continued)

Father, I praise you for giving me your Spirit. I am so grateful to know you will speak to me and guide me. In Jesus’ name, amen.
