The reason we put on Judgement House is to reach the lost and dying in our community

Why We Do Judgement House at the Naz

“He [Jesus] said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.’” Mark 16:15

The prayer we pray each year for Judgement House at The Naz is for unity, effectiveness, efficiency, and that many unsaved would choose Jesus as their Savior.  The only reason we put on a production each year is to reach the lost and dying in our community for Jesus by preaching “the Good News”.  We hope to influence all who pass through the drama to consider their eternal destination and understand that there is a heaven to gain and a hell to avoid.

God deeply cares for the lost and it is His will that none should perish.  He sent His Son to die for our sins and pay the price so all who choose Him don’t have to spend eternity apart from Him in eternal misery.  We do this massive amount of work to touch those truly lost souls whose eyes might be opened by this untraditional outreach.  The heart and the soul of Judgement House at The Naz is being faithful to follow the heart of God when He says go into all the world and preach the Gospel.

Jesus spent His entire life obeying what the Father spoke to Him and moving and doing only what the Father willed.  He went about preaching, teaching, and healing all for the purpose of pointing people to God.  He said clearly that He had to be about the Father’s business and the Father sent Him to seek and to save those who were lost.  That sums up Jesus’ entire ministry.

Clearly the heart of God the Father, Jesus, and Holy Spirit are about redemption, salvation, and restoration through the incredible gift of the atonement and resurrection of Jesus Christ.  So that is why we do Judgement House – to be about the Father’s business, reaching out to the lost around us and pointing them to the cross and salvation.
